In point form...

An update of what's going on in the Balderson household:

- So glad that summer has finally arrived!  We bought a trampoline on Kijiji this past weekend and Carter and I will now permanently reside in our backyard until snow comes.

- So happy for a friend who moved home (to the states) but so sad for myself who lost one of my best friends!  Our babes are only 10 days apart and we've had a lot of good times together.  I'm so glad for the friendship and know, despite the 1000 mile gap, we'll be friends for life!  And our babies will still most likely wed...

- The renovation continues.  Mike wrote his big exam a couple weeks ago and now has a little bit more free time.  This past weekend he re-tiled most of our back hallway (I'll have to show some before and afters once it's completely finished) and tore down the hideous wood/yellow plastic porch out back (Yah!!).  Next up: painting the house!

- Have you ever been to Riley Park?  It's great.  We spent an evening there last week with my sister and her family and plan on spending a lot of time there this summer.

- I work (have a I mentioned that??).  I work 2-3 days a week and Carter only has to spend 4 hours at a babysitters when I'm gone before Mike picks him up.  It works out pretty great.  This next week though I'm picking up some days of a co-workers and am working a full 6 days.  Carter is headed down to the farm.  He should have the time of his life yet I'm worried for myself who has never spent a night away from my baby boy!!

- Carter is getting SOOO big.  His favourite things in the world are dogs, balls, cars, and being outside.  He goes non-stop and is really the cutest kid in the whole wide world (no bias there at all).

- Do you remember this post?  Well they won!  So they'll be headed to Paris sometime in October.  I'm so excited and insanely jealous.

- Even though our neighborhood is a little ghetto in areas I really enjoy our neighboors.  There are a bunch of families with children in the surrounding houses, which I don't know if that's always the case in neighborhoods so close to downtown.  We went to our communities Canada Celebration and it was good times.
