This past week has been a busy one:
- Mike turned the big 3-0
- Went on our first date without Carter (thanks to G-ma Balderson for babysitting)
- Went to the zoo (twice!)
- Went for walks and ice cream with friends
- Attended first BBQ of the season with friends
- oh and bought a 95 year old home!
Yup it's been a busy past couple of days, obviously with the purchase of a home being the biggest deal. The house needs some definite work and I hope that we haven't gotten in over our heads (though I'm almost sure we have!) The place has a large 3 bedroom basement suite we plan on renting out to help with the payments as Mike is starting his
PhD this fall. More info and pics to follow on this crazy endeavor!
